CSR Initiative

Pearl Dubai has actively participated in several economic, cultural and charity initiatives, as well as major international events held in the UAE, as part of its wider corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme and holistic commitment to the community in general.

In November 2008, Pearl Dubai sponsored a gala cultural evening on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum’s Inaugural Summit on the Global Agenda. During the event, which brought together more than 700 of the world’s most noted thought leaders, the company pledged its strong support to sustainability initiatives that aim to draw the world community together for the benefit of future generations.

In December 2008, Pearl Dubai sponsored the second amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) Cinema Against AIDS gala in Dubai. The event successfully raised over US$1.8 million in support of amfAR's research programmes and awareness raising initiatives on HIV/AIDS.

The company was also one of the principal sponsors of the Dubai International Film Festival held in December 2008 for the second consecutive year as part of its endeavour to support promising talent in the UAE’s emerging film industry. In its participation at the high-visibility forum for leading representatives from the global film landscape, Pearl Dubai reiterated its strong involvement in cultural activities through endorsing the community’s rich fabric of social and traditional values.

Moving forward, Dubai Pearl will unveil a series of initiatives under its active CSR calendar to further reiterate its profile as an organisation that relentlessly prioritises the enriching of communities, even while shaping one of the most ambitious and luxurious real estate properties in the region.
