Abdul Majeed Ismail Al Fahim, Chairman

As Chairman of Dubai Pearl, Abdul Majeed Ismail Al Fahim drives the company’s long term strategic objectives, representing its key industry, civic and philanthropic constituents, and providing leadership to the Board of Directors.

In addition to Dubai Pearl, Al Fahim heads several enterprises as Chairman. Prior to Dubai Pearl, Al Fahim was Executive Director of the Private Office for a member of the Abu Dhabi Ruling Family. He has also held several key positions at at leading financial institutions in the Middle East, as Senior Management Member in National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Vice Chairman at Islamic Financial Consultancy (Bahrain) and Head of Projects and Direct Investment at Abu Dhabi Investment Company.

Santhosh Joseph, President and Chief Executive Officer

Joseph has over 20 years of management expertise developing and executing new investment strategies and driving the growth of various companies he headed. Joseph took over the Dubai Pearl project and has planned and successfully executed a revival plan, including the redesigning and rebuilding of the project.

Lawrence Elms, Principal Advisor

Elms has more than 25 years experience in international senior development and investment positions which most recently included that of CEO of Tejoori Ltd, an independent Islamic investment company listed on the London Stock Exchange.  Prior to this, Elms was the CEO of the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC)’s land corporation.  He also created the development concepts for one of Dubai’s most ambitious project - Business Bay. Elms is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors.

Anthony Liddiard, Chief Executive Officer, Rmal Hospitality

Liddiard has spent nearly 30 years in the region and brings a wealth of experience to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Rmal Hospitality. He held several senior multi-disciplined positions within the Intercontinental Hotels Group during his 23 years tenure including: Area Vice President Sales and Marketing Middle East and Africa General Manager in several key properties, and Director of Operations for UAE and Qatar

Abdel Naser Taha Al Ahmad, Senior Manager- Document Control

Abdel Naser is a commerce graduate, who stared his business career 16 years ago in the finance fraternity as an accountant. His extensive experience in business processes and finance has allowed him to take control of a crucial part of the Dubai Pearl development; that of document control. In addition to this, Abdel Naser plays a pivotal role in managing the relationships between Dubai Pearl and the many Dubai Government Departments and our local authority TECOM.

Anas Zerqieh, Senior Manager –Client Management and Administration

Anas has over 10 years of experience working in the hospitality and international real estate development sectors where he gained a great experience dealing with VIPs, government officials and high profile clientele. At Dubai Pearl, Anas is mandated to manage the Client Relationship and Administration Department. He is holder of an MSc International Hotel Management from the University of Surrey – UK.

Ayman Bou Khzam, Senior Vice President, Design Management

Ayman, Senior Vice President, is serving as the Head of Design Management of the Project. Ayman holds Masters Qualification in the discipline of Architecture and Urban Design from INBA University, Lebanon. He has eight years experience in design management, construction finishes, architecture, interior design and landscaping. During his career, he worked as Technical and Design Manger in major construction projects in the Middle East. These Projects include ARAMCO (Arabian American Oil Company) Community Centre in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Free Zone at Abu Dhabi International Airport

Bejoy Joseph, Manager- Corporate Finance

Joseph has over 12 years of experience in Finance and handles Corporate Finance at Dubai Pearl. In addition to his main responsibilities, Joseph heads the SAP implementation for Dubai Pearl and is also a member of the Corporate Governerance and Internal Audit. Prior to joining Dubai Pearl, he was member of the senior finance team at Arab Media Group, a subsidiary of TECOM where he successfully set the financial policies and procedures of the start up divisions. He worked in several leading companies in the UAE and India and is an expert in implementing ERP solutions. Joseph is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association- U.S.A.

Martina Rohel, Manager – Marketing

With over 10 years of comprehensive industry experience Rohel has headed marketing departments for a number of private and multinational companies in the UAE and South Africa. Her marketing experience spans across a multitude of industries on both client and agency side in real estate, hospitality and retail sectors. She holds both professional and academic postgraduate degrees in Marketing and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Masood Hassan, Senior Executive Vice President, Planning and Commercial

Hassan has over 35 years of experience in finance; he held several senior positions in reputed organizations in the region. Hassan was among the key finance people who oversaw the execution of Phase I and II of Dubai International Airport expansions and has also worked on Jebel Ali Airports City’s Master Development Plan. He participated in the establishment of internal audit function at HH The Ruler’s Court, Govt. Of Dubai and was the Financial Advisor on various projects for Surouh Real Estate in Abu Dhabi.

Marwan Bsaibes, Senior Architect – Design Management Department

Prior to joining Dubai Pearl, Marwan worked for Project Management and Development Consultants (PMDC), Dar Al Handasah- Shair and Partners and AMANA Special Projects. His experience in the design field brought him to Dubai Pearl where his responsibilities include the design management of the project. Marwan holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Development from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (Paris, France) as well as a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Lebanese University and is a member of the Lebanese Order of Engineers and Architects.

M Jayachandran, Senior Vice President, Finance

Jayachandran is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership on finance, accounting, contracting, and reporting activities. With a track record stretching more than 25 years in multinational and multi-divisional environment, Jayachandran has an extensive experience in strategic business planning and analysis, financial restructuring, project evaluation, treasury, public issues, and forex management. He also has an in-depth understanding of International Accounting Standards.

Academically a gold medalist, MJ is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and MBA from India and a Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) from UK. He also has a Masters in Economics (MA), Masters in Commerce (MCom) and Bachelors in Law (LLB).

Nagoor Mohideen, Asst. Vice President – Technology

Nagoor has over 18 years of experience in Telecommunication, Information Technology and Software. He has managed several projects for reputed organizations in the GCC including call center projects, real estate and cellular networks projects. Prior to joining Dubai Pearl, he has successfully implemented large turnkey projects in India, Europe, USA and the Middle East.

Raghad Madanat, Senior Executive Vice President, Legal Affairs

Madanat is a lawyer with over 16 years of experience, highly exposed to several corporate structures and has handled the legal affairs of various local and multinational companies in the UAE and Jordan. Madanat has extensive experience in the various divisions of law, mainly in the field of development and real estate, telecommunication and corporate/commercial matters with general litigation and arbitration practices.

Ramy Jallad, Executive Vice President, Business Development

Jallad has over 20 years of experience in directing and managing multinational organizations. He was responsible for creating revenue generating services, products and business opportunities as well as building strategic partnerships.  Prior to joining Dubai Pearl, he was Executive Director and a founding member for the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority. Jallad is an expert in building brand concepts and overseeing their development from conception to fruition.

Ravi Shivdasani, Senior Vice President, Corporate Governance & Audit

Shivdasani is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1983 and has worked extensively in India, the Middle East, Canada and the US. Shivdasani articled with PriceWaterhouse and has worked with Ernst & Young. PriceWaterhouse, McKinsey & Company as well as many large reputed local Groups including WJTowell in Oman and Al Futtaim in the UAE.  

Shivdasani forte is Corporate Governance and Change Engineering. His current assignment is to streamline Business Process by introducing policies and procedures as well as structuring, defining and putting into place elements of Corporate Governance. He is also an essential member of our Core Team that handles Investor Relationships.

Sanette Coetzee, Manager- Public Relations/Events

With a successful 14-year track record, of which 11 were in Dubai, Coetzee has developed the necessary skills sets and acquired a profound understanding of the region. Prior to joining Dubai Pearl, Coetzee has worked with the tourism and hospitality, as well as the retail and real estate sectors. She brings to Dubai Pearl added value through her multifaceted talent and diverse industry experience

Sawsan Saba,Senior Sales Manager

Sawsan has an extensive experience sales experience in the Middle East and GCC market. Having worked for a Leading real estate brokerage company and several blue-chip companies across the Middle East, Sawsan has an in-depth knowledge of the region’s sales and service industries. Her hard work and strong determination enabled her to achieve high sales revenues across her career.

Sayed Irfanullah Hussainy, Senior Vice President, Program Management

Hussainy has over 20 years of experience in managing construction activities and is an expert in the industry in the UAE and the region. Prior to joining Dubai Pearl, he was the commercial Director for the Supervision Committee for the Expansion of Abu Dhabi International Airport (SCADIA) and head of planning for the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) in Dubai. Hussainy is also one of the leading trainers in Project Management in the UAE.

Shounak Ajgaonkar , Planning Manager

Shounak has over 14 years experience in project management, development of strategic project programmes and associated reports for various government and multinational companies across a wide range of projects including mixed-use buildings, roads, rail, bridges, tunnels, telecommunication, marine, power and hospitals. Shounak holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of New South Wales in Australia. He is a registered Project Manager at the Australian Institute of Project Management (RPM) and member of the Institute of Engineers (MIE Aust) in Australia.

Sushil Kurian Pilo, Senior Vice President, Intellaxis 

Pilo is the founder of Intellaxis, a subsidiary of Pearl Dubai FZ LLC, mandated to
create
a state-of-the-art
working environment within
Dubai Pearl. He spearheads the operations of five divisions in facility management, technology, lifestyle management, property management, and content/data management.

Pilo has previously held senior executive positions and has successfully implemented challenging projects in a spectrum of industries across the US, the UK, the UAE, CIS countries and the Far East.

Suha Albadri, Manager-Product Development

Suha draws from her rich experience across a wide range of industries in the hospitality architectural, design and fashion sectors. Having studied and worked in Canada, USA, Turkey, Kuwait and Dubai, She brings a wealth of experience and creative ideas to her role as a Manager – Product Development at Dubai Pearl.

Wayne Holder, Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing & CRM

Holder’s experience spans over 25 years in property, retail and commercial aviation. He has served on the boards of listed and non-listed companies since 1989. He has obtained extensive property sales and marketing experience in the GCC, UK, Russian, European, and Iranian markets. Holder has been in Dubai since December 2002, and prior to joining Dubai Pearl, he held position of Vice President of Sales and Sales Director for two leading property and hotel developers.
