Pearl Dubai FZ LLC has completed the concrete raft pouring at the development’s Tower 2 (North Tower).
This marks Dubai Pearl’s achievement of a key construction milestone with the installation of three of the Middle East’s largest rafts on Tower 1, Tower 2 and Tower 3 of the iconic project.

Al Habtoor Leighton, contractors for the project, utilised a 300-plus workforce in each work shift over two working days to deliver the 11,000 cubic metre raft. Ten pumps and 1,200 truckloads of concrete reinforcements were poured into the 8.07 metres excavation.

This latest construction milestone will allow the commencement of works on the super structure for Towers 1 and 2 over the next few days.

Around 44,000 cubic meters of concrete will be poured into the foundation of the four towers on the project, in addition to utilising over 10,000 tonnes of steel reinforcements.
