Question about DIFC investment in Dubai Pearl
I have recently read an article about DIFC pulling out from Dubai Pearl. How is the project going to be financed now?

Owners Tecom or Al Fahim?
I have heard that the owners of Dubai Pearl are no longer Tecom but is now Al Fahim, is this correct? Is Tecom still the owners or has somebody else now taken over other than Al Fahim?

A good idea this forum is, I liked your openess and approach to current investors.
For future investors who are fed up with developers useless promisses, if Dubai Pearl was to stick to its intended delivery date, what is your program till the end of the year.. all we hear is that work is under progress and when visiting the site we some some 100 workers there.. and no real progress..
Annual rental rates
The forum is a great idea and as a moderator you have the option to prevent this from becoming an open “can of worms”. In the end however transparency and fairness across the clients must obviously prevail.
My specific concerns have been known to your staff since before the “tough times” as you call it.
My question is how do you speculate (since its all about negative and pessimistic predictions) on the success of Dubai Pearl given the fact that “supply demand equilibrium” is tending to the oversupply by a large amount in the future. How does one justify the low return on investment?

A good initiative no doubt but what is surprising is that after all the marketing done by your company not many people have posted their comments.
I am sure whoever has invested in Dubai Pearl is concerned about the project. Some investors have bought commercial full floors at high prices - most of us know each other as we have all met at launches plus we have met at the residential launches so we know who is planning to continue with payments - from what we know most people DO NOT have the money to continue to make payments.
Clarification on Radio Show
Dear Mr. Joseph,
In the past week I was listening to the Dubai Eye radio station on a program they have, called the Property Show.
It was with great surprise I heard that according to one of your contractors the Dubai Pearl project had been cancelled.
Please clarify this, and if the information is wrong, I strongly suggest contacting the radio station in order for them to ammend such information.

Congrats for launching CONNOISSEUR and creating a Forum for interaction. The regular updates and communication are very helpful. Please keep up the good work. However, there is one issue that hits at the very principles of Pearl Dubai's values of 'Transparency, Trust & Support'. And this needs to be addressed urgently with compassion and empathy.
